Educator for School Committee

HI! Mom of three and life long Haverhill resident here. I live in Riverside with my husband, three sons and two rescue dogs.

As a young kid I struggled in school. Thankfully I had some phenomenal HPS teachers who went above and beyond for me, which is what inspired me to become a Teacher. I am a Special Education teacher. I have a masters degree in Education, and multiple teaching certifications. I’ve spent a decade teaching middle and high school students in urban high needs districts, for sure the toughest job I ever loved.

I have institutional knowledge and educational expertise to bring to the School Committee that will benefit the kids, parents and educators of Haverhill. I also have a vested interest in the success of our schools, as all three of my boys will be attending Haverhill Public Schools.

It’s clear that our public schools face many varied challenges, which is why I have spent years serving on volunteer committees aimed at finding and implementing solutions to some of these problems. I have the skills and know-how needed to truly support our community. I will always fight for the resources that our kids and educators need to excel, while making sure that those resources are used as responsibly as possible.
